In Windows 10, version 1709, Windows 10, version 1903, Windows Server, version 1709, Windows Server, version 1903, and Windows Server 2019, the SMB2 client no longer allows guest account access to a remote server.
If you want to enable insecure guest access, configure the following Group Policy settings and reboot the server.
Accounts: Guest Account Status: Enabled
Network access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users: Enabled
Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares: Disabled
You will need to grant the Everyone group appropriate rights to the share.
